2021 was a hugely difficult year for students across the whole of the education system, from school years through to under and post graduate education.

For the students and staff on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Brookes, the pandemic presented them each with unique challenges that made working complicated and stressful. But despite these conditions, the work produced was as rich and inspired as ever.

To acknowledge the exceptional achievements of many of the students, and as a means to tell numerous harrowing individual stories, this special edition end of year show newspaper was produced to mark an historic year in the history of the course.
